TP2611 is the latest triple beam balance available from Ohaus, the best in the business.  When it comes to mechanical balances, especially for educational activities, the new Ohaus TP2611 is a complete learning tool for students studying metric weighing in their science classrooms.  From basic weighing to specific gravity determination using an included rod and clamp, students can learn all about the different uses of these conventional balances.

Not only is the TP2611 an incredible learning tool, but it also comes with 3 attachment weights which are protected by a cover while the balance is not in use.  Also, to protect the triple beam from breaking, there is a storage lock to protect underneath the weighing pan to assist in preventing accidental breakage when the mechanical balance is not being used.

Theft may also be prevented since there is a built-in security bracket which allows you to lock the balance in case someone tries to walk away with the triple beam.  You would need to purchase the actual security lock separately, but when there is a risk of theft it can save money in the long run.
