HRB-3001 precision toploaders weigh in several different units and can be toggled throughout the different modes during the weighing process. Parts counting and an RS232 interface are also included as standard features. Large backlit display makes it easy to read the weight of a sample regardless of the lighting in the room. Standard Features:
Tree HRB-3001 toploading balances offer portability and ease of use at an incredibly low price. Its compact size and light weight ABS construction make it easy to bring to a new destination. Since it operates on batteries or an AC adapter, you also get flexibility because you do not have to worry about connecting it to a power outlet if it is inconvenient to do so. When you require non-stop weighing, simply plug in the adapter for continuous use. One of the other key benefits Tree HRB Series balances provide is its calibration software. While there is never anything more efficient than using a proper calibration mass, not every end-user has a calibration mass just laying around. The unique software included in the HRB precision toploader allows you to use any known weight for calibration. Ideally, you should select a calibration weight somewhere in the middle of the balance's range. For instance, if this compact scale weighs up to 3000 g then you should be looking for a weight somewhere around 1500 g. Some other brands require specific weights for calibration, but the HRB-3001 allows you to calibrate with any size weight you have available. Some customers may already have a shipping scale that they use for making shipments, but use the HRB toploading balance for other uses. You can weigh an object on the shipping scale to find its known weight, then configure the weight of that object to calibrate the HRB-3001. You would use the object in the same way you would use a calibration weight. Just keep in mind the weight should be relevant to the capacity of the balance and be somewhere in the middle. What happens during calibration is the balance will determine what 1500 grams is and then from 0 -1500 and 1500 - 3000 try to calculate the correct weight in between. The longer the range it has to span, the more chance it could be slightly off. This is why you try to pick somewhere in the middle. |
